Dr. Howatt is not only a proficient board- certified General Surgeon, but also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) of Surgery at McMaster Medical School’s Faculty of Health Sciences. An alumnus of McMaster University’s MD program and the University of Ottawa’s postgraduate surgery program, he returned to the region to establish a robust surgical practice. He has also enriched his surgical acumen with training experiences in both Africa and Europe. Dr. Howatt has a wealth of expertise in skin surgery and a fervour for longevity medicine and positive aging. Dr. Howatt is dedicated to enhancing individuals’ health and wellness throughout their lifespan. Drawing from a background in gastrointestinal surgery, Dr. Howatt possesses a profound comprehension of the gut microbiome and its significant influence on overall health and vitality.
